2025 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION AND ESSAY CONTEST

The New Jersey Medical Association is inviting NJ students in high school, college, and medical school to apply for a 2025 scholarship celebrating the future of medicine based on the categories below.

Winners will be determined by the NJMA scholarship committee.

The NJMA locally wants to socially and professionally connect physicians of color to discuss and act on issues that matter most to members.  The organization’s members want to battle health care disparities through advocacy, education, and service to community.  This Scholarship specifically aims to encourage and elevate students interested in medicine but additionally to create opportunities for sustained intergenerational mentorship between African- American students and African American physicians.
