CONTINUED MISSION
According to the AAMC about 9 % of physicians in the United States identify as underrepresented minorities (Black, African American, Latino, American Indian or Alaskan Native) despite being more than 40% of the general population in the 2020 US census. New Jersey Medical Association is trying to encourage high school, college and medical school scholars interested in health care thru mentorship and by elevating their ideas about eliminating health disparities.
